My name is Ron. I am Australian born and living in Panama. I am in the process through this website of documenting every church in this country without prejudice of denomination or size. I am categorizing them into two groups. The first being the buildings specifically built as a church-Category 1 (C1)-and the second being existing buildings where people adapt them into their houses of prayers-Category 2 (C2). To simplify this site I will use the word "church" as a general term to cover all houses of prayer. 

 

If you have religious beliefs or love the architecture of these buildings or both, i hope you can find some enjoyment from this site, as Panamanians and foreigners alike. There are many  beautiful churches to be seen in this magnificent country.
