History / Comments:
Bell tower located at the left side of the building. It started with four bells when it was constructed. Nowadays, there is just one today. This church contains the famous golden altar which according to legend was painted
black in an attempt to hide it from looters. This happened in 1671, and one of the looters was Henry Morgan, when the paint faded, the golden altar was rediscovered and with great care it was returned to its former glory.
